Recently, I was asked by a journal to define the full form of GAIA. As I went through the manual and papers on the same I couldn't find the full form. I would really appreciate any help in this matter.

By "full form" what do you mean? If you mean "what does 'GAIA' stand for?", GAIA is not an initialism, it's the name of the Greek goddess of Earth. Most openTELEMAC modules and concepts are named after Greek mythology (TELEMAC itself, SISYPHE, GAIA, NESTOR, SERAFIN, ARTEMIS, etc.), usually a name relevant to the subject (SISYPHE and GAIA are both vaguely related to sediment).
