Compact Course: Hydraulic modeling of open channel flow with free software (in German Language)
This compact 3-day (+1) course will be held at the Institut für Wasserbau und Wasserwirtschaft (TU GRAZ / Austria) by Dr.-Ing. Uwe H. Merkel from UHM Consulting Engineers, Karlsruhe.
Date: 7 to 9 July
The course is suitable for those who want to use Telemac in daily business. Understand the whole tool chain, learn to use it in parallel on your own cluster and adapt the source code to your own needs. Understand what is really important to get the optimum for your projects.

TELEMAC Summer School at HR Wallingford - Dates have just been announced!
This hands-on 5 day course will be held in Wallingford, Oxfordshire (UK) and will cover meshing with Blue Kenue and modelling with TELEMAC-2D, TELEMAC-3D, ARTEMIS, TOMAWAC, and SISYPHE.
This course is suitable for those new to TELEMAC and who would like the opportunity to meet the tutors and other TELEMAC users. Please click here for more details.

An introduction to TELEMAC 2D training course is being organised in the UK on the 21-22 November 2013. The course will take place in Wallingford, and will be led by Sébastien Bourban.

TELEMAC-MASCARET 2013 User Conference now open for registration
We would like to invite you to the upcoming XXth TELEMAC-MASCARET User Conference and workshop. It will be taking place at BAW in Karlsruhe, Germany in October 2013, from Wednesday the 16th to Friday the 18th. The conference, Thursday and Friday, will be dedicated to developers' and users' presentations and discussions. On Thursday evening there will be a dinner on board of MS Karlsruhe on the River Rhine. There will be a pre-conference workshop on Wednesday the 16th October. A detailed schedule of discussion themes, workshops and /or training sessions is available on the event page. The registration is now open, be sure to register as soon as possible.
You can vote for your preferred workshop topic on the forum, and provide suggestions regarding the User Conference and workshop.
TELEMAC-MASCARET workshop at the 2012 SimHydro conference
A TELEMAC-MASCARET workshop will be held at the SimHydro conference. The workshop will take place before the conference on the 11th September 2012 in Nice, south of France. More information in the following PDF. Registrations on the following page.
2012 User Conference - Registration and call for abstract
The upcoming XIXth TELEMAC-MASCARET Users Conference will take place on the 18th and 19th October 2012. It will be held in Oxford and Wallingford in the United Kingdom. Training courses and workshops will be organised the two days preceeding the conference at the headquarters of HR Wallingford.
The conference is now open for registration. You can register at a discounted price until the 10th September 2012. If you wish to present a paper, the deadline for abstract submission is 30 May 2012. All necessary information can be obtained on the following page.
The 2012 TELEMAC-MASCARET User Conference
The upcoming XIXth TELEMAC-MASCARET Users Conference will take place on the 18th and 19th October 2012. It will be held in Oxford and Wallingford in the United Kingdom. Training courses and workshops are likely to be organised the two days preceeding the conference at the headquarters of HR Wallingford. The conference itself will be held in St Hughs College in Oxford. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about TELEMAC-MASCARET system, meet fellow scientists, and discover the famous city 'of dreaming spires'.
We would welcome any suggestion as to your prefer topic for the training and workshops: you can vote for your favourite option in the following poll.
More details will be provided in the coming months, and an announcment will be made when registration starts.
The 2011 edition of the TELEMAC user club was a success
The 2011 edition of the TELEMAC User Club was a success, with 120 participants and 26 presentations made.The conference took place on the 19th-21st October 2011. It was held at the EDF Corporate University, on the Chatou island near Paris (France). Wednesday 19th October was dedicated to training sessions, covering in particular the graphical user interface Blue Kenue from the Canadian Hydraulics Centre. Thursday and Friday were dedicated to developers' and users' presentations and discussions. A banquet was organised in Paris on the night of Thursday, and a visit of the hydraulic labs took place Friday afternoon.
The proceedings are now available on the User Club page. Presentations will also be progressively added as they get sent to us.
User club 2011 in October
To share your experience with all other users, we invite you to the next TELEMAC users club, taking place on the 19th-21st October at Chatou near Paris (France). Wednesday 19 October will be dedicated to Blue-Kenue training and the last 2 days to user presentations and discussions. Be sure to register as soon as possible.
