Hi,

I have successfully ran the culvert example provided in TELEMAC-3D validation manual using TELEMAC-3D (chapter 15, schematic culvert test case). I then tried to run the same example, using TELEMAC-2D.

I edited the cas steering file to make sure that the keywords are compatible with TELEMAC-2D, and remove a few of them which do not have comparable keywords in TELEMAC-2D (e.g. number of horizontal levels). However, I obtained error "EQUNOR (BIEF) : EXCEEDING MAXIMUM ITERATIONS".

Attached is the edited steering file. May I seek your advice on what went wrong and how can I fix this issue? My apology if this is too basic

pham OFFLINE Administrator Posts: 1622 Thank you received: 621	Hello, Decreasing the time step (from 1. to 0.2 s) and changing the turbulence model to e.g. the default one (constant viscosity) or Smagorinsky seems to solve your issue at the beginning of the computation (I have not tried to run the whole computation).
