Hi,

Playing around with a Mediterranean Tidal/Surge model and need to include tide generating forces to reproduce the tides accurately. I am observing that the inclusion of this helps quite a bit in obtaining the required amplitudes, significantly to the south of the domain.

What I have noticed however, is a strange Bias in the MSL that occurs when TIDE GENERATING FORCE = YES. As you can see below this seems to vary with latitude and is quite linearly increasing towards the north of the domain. Model is setup in spherical coordinate system and am running V8P5. TPXO Tides applied on the open boundary Attached also is the CAS file.

Has anybody come across this before or maybe aware of if this is expected behaviour or a potential bug?

Thanks,
Toby
