It runs fine without any problem, but only when I use the Thompson boundary condition. When using the classic boundary condition, the simulation fails after a long time (24-48 hours simulation time) even when decreasing the time-step. I don't know why, but I'm happy that it works now.

Is there any specific message with error when your simulation fails? If you want me to investigate, please send me all your input files, but I will not be able to investigate before the beginning of next week.
Yet, glad to read that it works now.
Best regards,
Chi-Tuan

No, nothing. I tried to simulate various times, and once I saw in the result file that the surface level started to increase uncontrollably everywhere except at the boundary, but there were no error messages in the command prompt. The program just stopped sending messages and didn't do any more calculations.
