Hello forum,

I am working on hydrodynamic simulation in a coastal region with TELEMAC-2D and the results are fine. And I want to add salinity as a tracer to this 2D model, I follow the user documentation but still cannot output the salinity in selafin file (there is no salinity in the results).

Is there some mistakes in the cas file or boundary condition file? Thanks for the help.

Hello HY,

Please remove the line &FIN otherwise the following lines are not considered for the computation (see the TELEMAC-2D user manual for more explanations).

Otherwise for your next step, you will certainly have to add TREATMENT OF NEGATIVE DEPTHS = 2 to run this steering file.

Be careful with the name of the tracer, the first 16 characters are for the name and the last 16 for the unit, you do not need to use - but space is OK.
