open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi,

I read on another post that control sections do not work with the combination of windows and python :

So I would like to have another configuration of the v6p3r2 version of telemac. I installed Perl (strawberry) and I put the directory of the scripts (perl5) to the path. When I want to compile telemac with my systel.ini file I have an error :

C:\Windows\system32>cfgmak

C:\Windows\system32>perl -x -S cfgmak.pl
Error or undefined GENERAL bloc in C:\opentelemac\install\systel.ini\systel.
ini

And when I do the makeall90 command :

C:\Windows\system32>makeall90

C:\Windows\system32>date /t
28/11/2014

C:\Windows\system32>time /t
10:36

C:\Windows\system32>perl -w -x -S makeall90.pl

I found another topic where someone have the same problem but I don't understand very well. I modified my path and I always have the same error message.

I do not have a solution but I find strange that the error message says:

Error or undefined GENERAL bloc in C:\opentelemac\install\systel.ini\systel.
ini

where \systel.ini\systel.ini looks like an error. If you try the command:

echo $SYSTELCFG

it must give you the path C:\opentelemac\install

where is the file systel.ini, is it like this ?

Hello,

Please note that cross section and python environment now work. I would recommend you try v7p0 (you can download the self installer from this website).

I didn't solve the problem with Perl but you are right sébastien, there is no problem between cross section and python in the v7p0. I didn't know that we already had access to the v7p0.
